ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney is an obvious destination for sports fans and families to hang out when visiting the Disneyland Resort. The main dining room boasts stadium seating and feels like a Vegas sportsbook, with several hi-def monitors flanking a giant HDTV showing the main game of the day. True sports nuts will want to take advantage of the large, deep recliners that face the action up-close, just like they would at home. The bar serves stiff cocktails, mostly California wines, bottled beers and a few craft brews on draft. Starters are represented by classic bar food items like Buffalo wings, nacho chips and cheese fries topped with smoked pork. Burgers, sandwiches and entrées such as baby-back ribs lead off the roster of approachable mains. Molten lava cake appeals to any sweet tooth, with its warm chocolate center, vanilla bean ice cream and oodles of whipped cream. Need a break from the kids?
