Overlooking the Fox River, this family-run establishment is a longtime favorite. The restaurant caters to a loyal clientele, who pack the place year after year. Fine linen, a dark color scheme and plenty of candles exude a relaxing charm. We think the crab cakes served with a house-made red pepper sauce, crab-stuffed shrimp and steer tenderloin are among the best items on the menu. The wine list offers a large variety of bottles as well as by-the-glass options.
