![]() : Trends come and go, but F. McLintocks Saloon & Dining House just keeps on doing what it does. Even though it sports a respectable ocean view, the décor is unabashedly Old West, right down to the branding irons and jackalopes. The restaurant is known for its oak pit barbecued items such as tri-tip, ribs and a baseball cut top sirloin, but the sautéed salmon and scampi are good bets, too. Prices might seem a bit high at first, but realize that every table gets bottomless family-style servings of crunchy onion rings, skillet-fried potatoes, smoky trail beans and garlic bread. Your meal also includes a serving of sorbet or ice cream, or you can opt for one of the 15 complimentary after-dinner liqueurs. The wine list highlights local labels, with several available by the glass. |
