THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES The Falcon Tavern Restaurant Review:
Around the corner from the 8th Street nightlife hub, patrons find a respite from constant foot traffic and a pleasantly casual ambience at this casual, comfortable spot. But don’t let the laid back atmosphere here fool you---The Falcon Tavern is on its game. Known for its classic pub fare, including plenty of cold brews, the menu sports a variety of dishes including a fresh ginger curry salad, and a succulent hot pressed Cubano sandwich built with tender, rum-marinated pork butt, smoked ham, provolone and chili-spiked mayo. But the primary reason most folks frequent this establishment is for its collection of hearty burgers. All feature quarter-pound, hand-pressed patties blending Kobe and Angus beef. When the summer-patio movie series gets rolling, there’s nothing better than a wall-movie, a warm night and a cold beer in hand.
