FAMOUS FISH CO. HAS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. With locations in Cape Town and Durban, as well as London, Famous Fish Co. comes to another part of the metro Atlanta area after opening in Peachtree City. The food is inspired in the exotic fare of that glorious cape country, South Africa. The fish is never frozen, making a major difference in the quality of the result. The pans are the specialties stamped with the cooking of South Africa: prawns, shellfish and maybe a chicken liver or two in various combinations form the crux of these dishes, accompanied by rice. The peri-peri sauce on the prawn 'n' chicken pot is a bit timid in deference to middle-of-the-road tastes, so ask for some extra so you can ratchet up the heat factor and bring it closer to authentic.
