THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Fathom Seafood House Restaurant Review:

For a more casual voyage than its uptown cousins Fish and Little Fish, head to Mike Stollenwerk's Fathom Seafood House, appropriately located in Philadelphia’s changing Fishtown neighborhood. Boasting a sustainably sourced raw bar and seafood-centric gastropub menu, Fathom gives comfort foods a nautical spin with dishes such as lobster grilled cheese, cod pierogis with bacon and brown butter, and oyster potpie with fennel and pork belly. A recent visit found Fathom still getting its sea legs, with dishes sent out lukewarm and the fries with spiced crab gravy and cheese curd a sodden, leaden dud. The bar has a great vibe. Look forward to sidewalk seating, and a peekytoe crab sandwich that never disappoints. Beer drinkers will appreciate a selection of local and craft brews; there are ten on tap.
