THIS RESTAURANT IS NOW A PRIVATE EVENT SPACE Feast @ 4 East Restaurant Review:
“Feast,” an acronym for “fabulous eating at Sandy’s table,” does make its customers feel like pampered guests in a private home. The red-brick townhouse, which once housed a physicians’ group with a roster of celebrated clients, is now operated as a bed-and-breakfast inn. Dinner is served Thursdays through Saturdays, either in the gracefully proportioned dining room --- painted a cerulean blue and adorned with marble fireplaces and French Empire touches --- or on a pretty brick patio. However grand the setting, though, Feast’s spirit is friendly and welcoming, and Sandy Lawler’s cuisine is both internationally eclectic and locally sourced, with vegetarian and vegan choices (an onion and Gruyère tart, for instance, and crisp dal polenta with ratatouille) on its hearty, seasonal bill of fare. Bring your own wine.
