Federales Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: A block away from Restaurant Row, Federales exudes its own cool vibe on Morgan Street. With a large bar opening to a sizeable patio, the spot bursts with off-the-clockers hungry for barbacoa tacos and tequila shots. Speaking of shots, be ready for Ring the Bell, an outdoor challenge where patrons take a swig and attempt to throw their glass on target while the whole bar watches.

Likes: Fun atmosphere for you and your cube mates.
Dislikes: A limited menu, but this is more of a happy hour spot anyway.

Food & Drinks: Federales doesn’t pretend to be more than what it actually is: a bar with tacos, ceviche and tequila-based cocktails. Green chili brisket nachos and a crispy chicken taquito bucket are worth sharing. On the ceviche side, try the octopus version with capers and cilantro oil. For mains, it’s tacos all the way; the pork shoulder al pastor and adobe shrimp are stars. Margaritas of all stripes, tallboys and ice glass shots keep the buzz going. A few wines are also available.
