Feu Restaurant Review:

Feu is a Vietnamese noodle soup restaurant in a Studio City strip mall. The stylish space in Braum Real Estate Plaza features light grey walls, a black and white photo of a bicycle, geometric lanterns and wood tables --- banquettes and communal. The name "feu" refers to pot au feu, a French precursor to pho that literally translates from French as “pot on fire.” The specialty of the house is available with different cuts of beef, including brisket, chuck roast, bone-in oxtail or rosy rib-eye. Each order comes showered with scallions and raw onion. Garnish to your liking with fresh mint leaves, a squeeze of lime, spicy jalapeños and crunchy bean sprouts. If steaming noodle soup isn’t your thing, Feu also serves bun (cold vermicelli salad) topped with grilled proteins like hanger steak, tiger shrimp or Jidori chicken. Banh mi and starters such as garlic noodles and spring rolls round out the menu. To drink, expect soft drinks and Vietnamese coffee or tea, but no alcohol.
