The Fifth Floor Cafe Restaurant Review:
This little sister (though not so little) of the very grown-up Fifth Floor restaurant bustles and buzzes all day with a smart crowd. They happily lay aside their designer bags to eat either in the main room or---better still on a fine day (though they do, of course, have overhead heaters in case it’s not balmy enough)---on the roof terrace. The à la carte menu is an attractive catch-all, offering risotto, smoked salmon, soups and salads as starters and dishes like pan-fried sea bass, calf’s liver and the like for mains. Children get a great meal here, designed for healthy living. The revamped bar packs in the after work smart crowd. The Fifth Floor Café offers a good 2-course menu for £12.50, 3 courses for £14.50 from 6pm.
