The entire New Orleans metro area has gone burger crazy the past couple of years, with the opening of The Company Burger, Tru Burger, Charcoal's Gourmet Burger Bar, Phil's Grill and more. But none of these can boast ownership by one of the city's premiere restaurant families, the Cvitanovich clan, owners of the famous Drago's restaurants. Drago's is known for its charbroiled oysters with a garlic butter sauce. The family has taken that same concept and applied it to burgers --- charbroiled with the same irresistible sauce. A dozen burger varieties are mostly under ten bucks, and are best enjoyed with the house truffle fries or garlic fries. No desserts and no alcohol --- just burgers and fries in a colorful, lively space with flat-screens to enjoy a good Saints win. In the end, it's all about that garlic butter sauce.
