Laguna Beach's swankiest Asian fusion restaurant has a quieter, less glamorous sister location in the Anaheim Marriott Suites, frequented by conventioneers, business diners and the occasional Disneyland tourist. The cuisine is the same: rich, complex pan-Asian dishes that are pleasing to the eye as well as the taste buds. Some of the large plates can overwhelm the palate---too many flavors and textures competing for attention. However, signature items such as the pot-stickers and the crispy catfish in tomato sauce draw Orange County diners. The menu changes regularly but the catfish, the macadamia-crusted halibut and the “hot Szechuan sisters,” a wok-seared trio of scallops, prawns and lobster tail, are standbys.
