Flavor of India Restaurant Review:

Local residents and office workers are perfectly happy that this restaurant’s location at the end of a strip mall makes it a tad hard to find at first --- but those who have found it quickly become loyal fans. The popular lunchtime buffet showcases an array of Mughlai and northern Indian dishes that changes nearly every day, while the lengthy dinner menu offers a particularly large selection of vegetarian choices, like potato and mushroom curry, a stir fry with homemade paneer, or an appetizer platter of samosas, pakoras and chickpea-battered deep-fried onions. It’s enough to intrigue the most loyal carnivore. Even naan, the most elemental part of an Indian meal, comes in a dozen flavorful varieties. Craving heat? Try the extra-spicy shrimp vindaloo, then put out the fire with homemade ice creams. The good news on the wine list is that there are spice-friendly options like Gewürztraminer. The bad news: By-the-glass choices are deeply mundane. Consider an Indian beer instead.
