THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Flea Market Restaurant Review:
Located on Avenue A's burgeoning restaurant row, Flea Market is a friendly neighborhood bistro that serves reliable (as long as it’s simple) French fare. We recommend just about anything that comes with the crisp french fries---steak frites, moules marnières and the hamburger on a baguette. Lovers of kitsch will feel right at home in this space bedecked with Bakelite, 1960s lunchboxes and other goodies you find at a flea market. But the eatery becomes packed with people sipping wine and ducking outside for a cigarette, especially later in the evening. During brunch on the weekends, kick back and enjoy the people-watching around Tompkins Square Park.
