THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Florencia 13 Restaurant Review:

This dark, broody place could be mistaken as a neighborhood bar. But that would be wrong. It’s actually a Southern California-style taqueria. The venue is decked out with a low-rider bike propped up in the corner and velvet paintings grace the walls in un-ironic fashion, while a bar and six tables accommodate diners and drinkers. The menu is crammed with all the staples: burritos, huge and often served “wet” (covered in a quasi-spicy red sauce); enchiladas; and tacos. Enchiladas are overly drenched in sauce and hard-shell tacos are greasy (not unlike in SoCal, actually). The chicken, however, is fall-apart tender. The cuisine here doesn’t exactly make New York-based Californians miss home much, but the large margaritas might help.
