Fort Ruger Market Restaurant Review

: In an older, densely-populated area of Diamond Head, this market sticks out like a sore thumb, but that makes it easier to find. The poke is made to order so the sauces don't seep into the fresh fish, and you're able to taste the different ingredients' flavors. The best sellers are the ahi limu (seaweed) shoyu poke and the shoyu limu tako (octopus) poke. A cult following has developed for the crispy chicharrones bites with their vinegar dipping sauce. Pick up a bag of boiled peanuts and cold beer to round out your pupus and head down to the beach for a pau hana.
