THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Forum Restaurant Review:
Forum’s first floor features a bustling bar and dining area, while the second level offers a small bar to grab a craft beer and some appetizers in a quieter setting, as well as a main seating area with views of Boylston Street. Chef Dan Schroeder’s menu focuses on New England favorites with a twist, like pan-roasted halibut with lobster chorizo risotto, bone marrow-encrusted filet with red wine demi-glace, and house-made gnocchi with wild mushrooms. Starters include lobster chowder, peach and prosciutto salad, and sautéed mussels with garlic and white wine. For dessert, the skillet-baked chocolate chip cookie is topped with vanilla bean ice cream, and there’s a creamy blueberry cheesecake, too.
