![]() : This handsome restaurant located in the Hyatt Union Square has soaring ceilings and a curiously eye-pleasing sculpture made of wooden bed frames hanging from the ceiling. The menu is quasi Italian with some American thrown into the mix for good measure. Burrata and beets is more like a beet salad with creamy burrata poured on top by the waiter (though it’s still very good, nonetheless). Flatbreads can be showstoppers, particularly the raw tuna and kimchi number. Mains include such seasonal plates as vegetable-topped salmon and juicy Amish country chicken. The burger, made with Black Angus beef, topped with a soft egg and sandwiched in a tomato bun, would make any carnivore smile. Desserts run the gamut, but if the rhubarb crisp is on offer, do yourself a favor and enjoy. Wines are nicely priced, especially the small handful that are available on tap. |
