An intimate, friendly café in downtown Los Altos, this is a popular local meeting spot. The décor is warm and busy; bar seating allows people to watch Chef Monique Corne hard at work in the exhibition kitchen or over at the wood-fired oven. Grilled pizzas and polenta arrive piping hot out of the aforementioned oven. Fresh fish also benefit from this simple yet ever-popular preparation. A signature item is the Linguine Lido, served in a white sauce rich with fresh seafood. The restaurant gets its desserts from the popular Woodside Bakery. The wine list is split between California and Italian varietals.
