THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Fremont Noodle House Restaurant Review:

Rice-paper lamp shades and Thai curios decorate this tasteful wood- and mirror-filled room. It’s an attractive setting for noodling around with a pretty bowl of generously portioned soup (though the friendly, efficient servers keep things moving since folks are often waiting). We’ve enjoyed a clear, cilantro-flecked broth dense with rice noodles, shrimp and scallops; roast pork and skinny noodles in a hot and sour broth; and a peppery, golden liquid with floating mushrooms, baby corn and tofu. Another noodle standout is a fragrant blend of Chinese noodles, Thai eggplant, chicken and fresh basil in a delicate yellow curry. We always start with mieng kahm, a teak tray set with small bowls holding ginger, lime, peanuts, toasted coconut, chilies and a sweet brown sauce. A little of each ingredient goes into a spicy green leaf, then popped into the mouth for a kaleidoscopic taste sensation.
