Fujin's décor isn't fancy, and neither is its standard American-Chinese menu. But the service is warm and personal, and favorite dishes are well-executed. One of the best offerings is the hot-and-sour soup, which stands out for the quality of its ingredients and nuance of flavor. The "salt and pepper" plate --- drumsticks and shrimp --- is reliable, too, as is the crispy fried eggplant. We also recommend the Szechuan and sesame beef, and the crab sprinkled with ginger and green onions. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. More adventurous diners will want to consult the specials written on a signboard near the entrance. For drinks, there's a limited beer and wine list.
