THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED FuRaiBo Restaurant Review:

Fried chicken is not a uniquely American culinary icon. In fact, some of the best fried chicken is a product of Japanese cooking and FuRaiBo, a chain with over 70 branches throughout Japan, is well-known for its addictive chicken wings called tebasaki. These tasty morsels (as well as other chicken parts) are marinated and fried to crispy---but greaseless---perfection. They are seasoned from sweet to extra spicy and sprinkled with sesame seeds. The menu is filled with everything from charbroiled squid to beef tripe in miso broth to an unusual kimchi pancake (more like a pie), but the chicken wings are not to be missed. The no-frills dining room offers a horseshoe-shaped counter around an open kitchen, a few tables and surfboards mounted on the walls. Other locations.
