THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Furin's of Georgetown Restaurant Review:

Billing itself as a gourmet café, Furin’s features fast food in a quasi restaurant setting. Almost everything is premade, waiting behind glass for final heating up after you order. You can do take-out or opt to eat in the sit-down restaurant with service. Either way, you can choose from sandwiches and casseroles, chicken Française or cacciatore and whole stuffed trout, wraps and soups. Its fare is better than burgers and fries and presumably not as fatty, but don’t expect drop-dead eats. The so-so Santa Fe wrap, for starters, comes as a beet-red tortilla encasing a sweetish bean chili, plus a salad of one’s choice. The tuna casserole is a good choice. The baked-fresh cakes and pastries, however, looked best of all, and the big chunky cookies taste like Mom’s homemade. Maybe the trick is to eat pastries, or drop in for one of Furin’s big-time breakfasts on the way to work.
