Furious Spoon Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: Chef Shin Thompson's Logan Square outpost mirrors the feel of the neighborhood; it's laidback, hip and energetic. Pull up one of the many wooden stools by the windows facing Milwaukee Avenue, the diagonal bar or a large communal table in the back. Hip hop music amps up the vibe while servers replenish beer and chopsticks.

Likes: The food arrives quickly and piping hot.
Dislikes: The ramen is warmer than the service.

Food & Drinks: Furious Spoon moved from counter service to full service in 2019. Servers are getting accustomed to the change, so the meal might feel a bit rushed and transactional. That said, the dishes come out fast and steaming. House favorites are the signature Furious Ramen with spicy miso, chashu pork belly, white pepper chicken, poached egg, marinated mushrooms, garlic relish and "fury sauce." The Dynamo Shrimp also plays to spice lovers with its chili-infused noodles, fried green beans, chubby shrimp and more. For a pre-ramen bite, order the panko-crusted Crab Bomb enhanced by a side of scallion aïoli. A few rice bowl offerings expand the menu. Other locations.
