Ganso Restaurant Review:

Ganso is a ramen restaurant in an unlikely spot. Sitting just off the Fulton Street Mall in downtown Brooklyn, among chain eateries and shops, it’s a culinary oasis for hungry foodies in search of something nourishing to eat. Begun by cookbook author Harris Salat, Ganso serves up ramen and Japanese comfort food. Start with gyoza, which come face down and linked by a thin layer of fried dough. Inside, moist pork and garlic intermingle to create a delight for the palate. The ramen is mostly good --- though the broth of the signature pork belly-laced version was underwhelming. Instead, try the “Stamina,” a chicken-based broth that has a chili kick to it. There’s a notable selection of saké to wash it all down.
