THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Gennaro's Restaurant Review:
Gennaro's started as a family business in 1959, and it is still a family business. There's a bar (with a handful of booths opposite) and a small back room with about eight tables; it’s not much to look at, but the Italian food---most notably the red sauce---is mighty good. Don't miss the fish salad, the house-made cavatelli or the braciole (stuffed and rolled steak cooked in sauce). Situated in Chicago's Little Italy section, Gennaro's is so homey you'd think you were eating at a friend's house.
