THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED The Magnanelli family’s table of mostly traditional fare includes some Andalusian-Italian fusion, especially with the cold gazpacho with a cucumber base that has carrots, peppers, onions and crème fraîche. Yet the soup is too bland. Stuffed calamari tubes, a bit tough and with a sauce that seems like tomato purée, is another starter option. From the specialty entrées, consider the pricey kale and cannellini beans with spaghetti and a few bits of jumbo lump crab, or the traditional shrimp scampi with fettuccine, though the delicate butter sauce doesn’t enhance the overcooked pasta. For families with fussy eaters, there is the usual comfort food: lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs or sausage. Service may be slow.
