THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Glory Restaurant Review:

A very nice, pleasant place that delves quite deeply into New England fare, and it is about as authentic as you will find around these parts. Classic dishes from chowder to jonnycakes are pure comfort food delights. Try the clam chowder, lobster roll, and lazy man’s clambake. New England boiled dinner and Yankee pot roast are definitely a nice departure from the usual sea fare. For dessert, classic Indian pudding, Boston cream pie and apple pie with a cheddar crust are all worth the calories. Cozy, comfortable and not too noisy (unless you are sitting close to the jarring sound of the espresso machine.) This place serves Moxie (a somewhat bitter soft drink concocted by a doctor from Maine in 1884 as a nerve medicine) and cabinets (Rhode Island milkshakes). A nice children’s menu features chicken tenders, mac ’n’ cheese, corn dogs, and PB&J. Service is friendly but the kitchen seems to bog down when the place is packed.
