Golden Mart Restaurant Review:
Unless you live in the area, and even if you do, you wouldn’t know that this little convenience liquor store in a Mililani strip mall has some of the best poke in town. The fish is fresh, and their proprietary blend of sauces, especially the appropriately named “special sauce,” distinguishes the poke. As with any poke counter, you can try a few samples until you find your favorite; it could be the creamy wasabi version or the popular Golden Mart Special. Barbecue beef and pork sticks are available on Fridays and customers can pick up spam musubi, garlic soybeans, pipikaula, even raw opihi (limpet).
