Goode Co. Seafood Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: The favorite Houston seafood house is crammed with actual antique boats and a 14-foot propeller, but that's just part of its charm. It has the aura of a classy harbor club with fishing photos, white tablecloths and tropical ceiling fans.
Food & Drinks: Goode Co. harvests recipes from Texas, Louisiana and Mexico to spruce up a dazzling display of catfish, snapper, oysters, shrimp and seasonal crawfish. Try the campechana, a chilled seafood cocktail in a spicy tomato sauce with avocado, served spilling over the top of a soda fountain glass with tortilla chips. We also love the buttery gumbo and the spicy empanadas. Entrées like the mesquite-grilled catfish and stuffed flounder are all expertly prepared.
