Gracias Madre Restaurant Review

: Perfectly situated along West Hollywood's Melrose Triangle -- one of LA's trendiest stretches of shops, salons and cafes -- Gracias Madre has quickly become a see-and-be-seen spot for those who love clean eating as much as they do Instagram-worthy cocktails. From the enormous indoor area with its Spanish-style architecture, vaulted ceilings, giant wood fixtures and gorgeous tiled bar to the spacious outdoor patio replete with a prayer altar, the space feels as though you've arrived at some tropical retreat ... where guys wear skinny jeans and girls wear fedoras. The plant-based, all-organic, Mexican-inspired cuisine has a California twist, which translates to dishes like the spicy pozole with chunks of tempeh and hominy or the sopes (fried masa cakes) unexpectedly topped with pineapple salsa. As for the bar, you can expect more than 100 organic tequilas and mezcals that find their way in any number of the colorful cocktails from boozy snow cones to the Three Miracles made with juniper-infused mezcal, lime, mint, sparkling wine and spherical ice made of absinthe.
