The North Shore Bin 36 morphed into this friendly seafood spot, and although the folks behind that wine bar have a few kinks to iron out when it comes to this fresh catch, a visit may be generally pleasant. Kamehachi has a sushi bar in residence so diners can start with dragon rolls, but they’d be well-served to hook the popcorn shrimp, which arrives, kitschily, in a paper sack with a stack of razor-thin onion straws and spicy ketchup. Not to be passed by is the Shore Cookout, which is presented in a fishing trip-worthy kettle and consists of crisp, beer-battered cod atop sliced, onion-specked potatoes with crunchy, fresh-from-the-farm corn and drawn butter. It’s simple bliss.
