Green Street
Comfortable Central Square restaurant offering satisfying contemporary fare.
Green Street Restaurant Review:
There was Green Street the dive and then Green Street the Caribbean nightspot. Now there's Green Street as a chic neighborhood bar-and-grill located in Central Square where they have been serving up cocktails and food since the Great Depression. Its claim to fame is holding the city’s longest standing liquor license. Sip a fruity Zombie cocktail and sample unique starters like stuffed calamari with garlic sausage, white bean purée and peppers. Dishes with a New England-bent include Wellfleet clam stew, black peppered rib-eye, and tomato-braised pork shoulder. End the meal with an ice cream sandwich made with peanut butter cookies.
