Gringo's Taqueria Restaurant Review: Gringo’s Taqueria is one of the happiest little eateries you’ll ever find for Baja-style fish tacos, salsa verde enchiladas, or orange chicken chipotle burritos (complete with pineapple salsa) and a carne asada burrito. A seemingly endless cornucopia of bold, bright tomatoes, avocados and seasonal fruits blends in with the sunny atmosphere, outfitted with a low-rise counter and a smattering of tables. Bottled beers from south of the border and heavy-handed pours of wines (including some organics) wash down the Tex-Mex fare as do scratch-made margaritas and a juicy sangría. There might not always be dessert, but smoothies accented with lime and honey sure make life sweeter. |
GAYOT's Annual Restaurant Awards honor America's best chefs, as well as promising newcomers and a top restaurateur.
