This sushi specialist across from the Pru has been serving up the raw stuff for two decades and counting. The brick-walled basement space is a lunch break fave during the day. At night the staff cranks the stereo up for the event known as rock-and-roll sushi, and the night-crawlers come out in force. An extensive selection of nigiri comes with extras like spicy mayo, cucumber, sesame seeds, shiso and tobiko for adding to taste. To put it bluntly, it's not the best in town, but it may be the most fun. And the kimono-clad waitresses flutter about the place with impressive efficiency.
