Häagen-Dazs is one of several companies with ice cream stands scattered all over Manhattan. Astoundingly rich, the ice cream is very high in butterfat and calories, but the splurge is worth it. There’s the requisite chocolate and vanilla, the enchanting Swiss almond vanilla, and the decadent Bailey’s (liqueur). If you can keep your vow to count calories once you walk in the door, order the soft-frozen, sugar-free yogurt.
