THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Haandi Restaurant Review:

Much acclaimed and well-established, the Haandi Indian restaurants offered one of the first Indian dining experiences in the metro area and continues to hold its own against a flood of upstarts. Its menu reads like a familiar guidebook to Indian eats, and you won't find much that's unfamiliar or jolting. All foods are mildly spiced; if you want to turn up the heat, you'll have to ask for it. So this may appeal to diners who love temperate and familiar dishes. We enjoyed the unusual daal masala, a simmer of various lentils cooked in mild spices, and credit the tandoor cook with making decent bread. We usually like fiery vindaloos lavished with chilies, but this one was too mild.
