The Halal Guys Restaurant Review:
Located a couple blocks south of upscale South Coast Plaza, this simple brick-and-mortar venue stays true to its original form as a New York City food cart. You can expect retro splashes of color and a rabid crowd inside the narrow, basically designed space. Like the original cart locale, the restaurant offers a selection of fast-casual Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare, including hummus and pita starters, chicken and rice plates, and gyros.
