The Wiggins lads---Henry “Hank” Wiggins and nephew Doug Wiggins---have produced a fine licking line-up that now numbers some 175 homemade flavors. Established more than 20 years ago, the enterprise's favorites include Banana Pudding, Turtle Cheese Cake and Muddy Waters, the latter---produced by request---named for the famous blues musician. But these are just a few of the creative concoctions this pair serves on a regularly rotating basis. It may seem standard, but butter pecan remains one of the most popular flavors. Not standard, however, is the quality of its main ingredient, as you get substantial pecan halves in this version, rather than the cheaper crushed pieces.
