Harry's Cafe & Steak
A classic steakhouse in the historic section of the Financial District.
Harry's Cafe & Steak Restaurant Review:
There's plenty of dark wood at this steak haven, lending a masculine old-world air to the atmosphere. A leather-bound wine list presents selections that lean toward big reds with prices that indicate expense accounts are welcome. Splurge on one of the Cabernets from a year that you barely remember. Starting with an iceberg wedge would be prudent, but the lobster-stuffed mushrooms are steaming and buttery. While there's salmon, chicken and pasta, you'd be a fool to pass on the bone-in rib-eye or New York strip with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. Desserts follow in line, but consider winding up the experience with a scotch on the rocks, or perhaps an Amaro might be more appropriate.
