White porcelain bowls heaped with pasta and topped with freshly-cooked ingredients lend this funky urban space its name. Sharing bowls is common and there is not an extra charge. Portions are plenty for two. Choose a stir-fry bowl and add grilled chicken or calamari for just a few dollars more. Unexpected goodies include very good pierogies. Daily specials change according to the day of the week and include pot roast and chicken pot pie. No larger portion of banana pudding lurks anywhere on the planet. Brunch specials are hefty portions of eggs this way and that, plus real grits (stone-ground), excellent bacon, home fries and plenty of specialty drinks. But the freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee are really all you need for a proper wake-up.
