HEXX kitchen + bar Restaurant Review

About the décor:This lively eatery at Paris Las Vegas boasts a dining room awash in white with similarly colored chairs, walls, ceiling and light coverings, while floor-to-ceiling windows provide an opportunity for people-watching on the bustling Vegas Strip.

Likes: Attractive presentation on each plate means you’ll want to take a picture before diving in.
Dislikes: The dining room can get noisy at times, but opting for an outdoor table will provide a quieter environment.

Food & Drinks: Worthy starters include the Maryland crab cake with lump crab; calamari with buffalo hot sauce and ranch; and surf & turf sliders with lobster, short rib and slaw aïoli. Entrées are served in generous portions; we recommend the king salmon with black quinoa risotto and wild mushrooms; veal Milanese with wild mushroom risotto; and gnocchi pomodoro with tomato, basil and melted burrata. Complementing the fare are 22 wines by the glass and more than 150 bottles of wine hailing mainly from California, Washington and Oregon, and also varietals from France, Italy and Spain; and 39-plus choices of bourbon, single malt and whiskeys. The brunch menu lists nontraditional items such as bacon, sausage and egg pizza and carrot cake pancakes with walnuts and cream cheese frosting. Finish with a peanut butter cheesecake with peanut butter caramel, Oreo crust and candied peanuts. Before leaving, be sure to check out HEXX Chocolate & Confexxions, where you can watch the process of chocolate making in its state-of-the-art exhibition kitchen.
