High Thyme Restaurant Review:

True to its surroundings, High Thyme brings the beach vibe inside and puts good fresh food on the table. The restaurant’s casual atmosphere makes it equally suitable to a quiet vacation evening or a more elaborate dinner. Asian influences with a bit of a French accent combine with local seafood and vegetables to create an accessible but interesting menu. We suggest the pan-seared tilapia over smoked Gouda grits with arugula and lemon caper brown butter, with rich cream in the mix and the right temperature on the seared fish. Mid-week at High Thyme is especially popular. When Tapas Tuesdays roll around, it’s a chance to sample many of the flavors, have a few glasses of wine and get to know the island locals.
