Big portions, good meat and excellent sides have made this Dallas barbecue spot a hit. Be sure to try the fried green tomatoes and fried okra---even if you think you dislike okra these crunchy, slime-less little nuggets will convert you. Brisket and ribs rule in the meat department, both are melt-in-your-mouth tender with a rich smoky taste. Unless you are Texas-size hungry, stick with the smaller size portions and leave room for a little chess pie, an old southern standard concoction of butter, sugar, and eggs.
