Phoenix may be a far cry from Memphis, but that doesn’t mean the locals can’t enjoy good Southern-style barbecue. Churning out mesquite-grilled barbecue bathed in smoky-sweet sauce, this fast-food spot has earned a loyal following. In fact, they come in droves for ribs, chicken, pulled pork, house-specialty beans and sweet potato pie. Party packs are a great hit for office events and, well, parties, bringing combos like ribs, chicken, sandwiches and side dishes with all the fixings. Also located at 5012 E.
