Southern fried chicken takes center stage in La Cañada at Honeybird. Diners can buy chicken pieces à la carte or as combo meal alongside the likes of watermelon salad with cucumbers, mint, jicama and jalapeño; collard greens with applewood smoked bacon, brown sugar and cider vinegar; and rainbow kale and quinoa salad. There's beer and wine to drink, plus a slew of pies from pecan to Key lime for dessert.
