House of Emperor Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant & décor: This suburban Chinese restaurant has a bright, welcoming dining room with a mix of well-spaced tables and booths – it’s a good choice for a family outing. Service is super-efficient, but not pushy.
About the food: Bountiful portions are served at very reasonable prices. The spicy and crispy scallop is one of our favorite dishes; so, too, is the beef with Chinese broccoli. Not to be ignored, though, are the family dinners and the top-tier fried rice. The makeup of each of the selections takes into consideration the very essence of Chinese cookery – variety in preparation styles as well as ingredients. Several of the entrées and even appetizers are available in different sizes, so you can score several diverse tastes.
