One look at the exterior of House, with its angled window mimicking the restaurant’s logo, and you know that something about this place is a little different. As it turns out, that something is just about everything-from the top-notch food to the austere industrial décor to the excellent service. If you like chicken wings, don’t miss the garlic-crusted rendition here. Another favorite is the hot five-spice calamari, served with a cooling buttermilk dipping sauce. A good fish dish is the grilled Chilean sea bass with braised green beans and jasmine rice. An exciting alternative is the Australian rack of lamb flecked with Korean red pepper. The creamy tapioca is soft and rich, topped with a generous layer of cream and mango purée.
