THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hudson Grille Restaurant Review:
A plethora of flat-screen TVs are scattered around both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The lively scene is on the outdoor patio, equipped with a fireplace (plus heat torches for warmth in cold weather) and its own bar. For starters, share a plate of the tender milk-marinated calamari, served with a "marinara" sauce that's more like a barbecue sauce. Breaded shrimp with house-made tartar sauce are first-rate, their sweet fresh flavor coming through the light coating. The meal deal is the eight-ounce sirloin, which is a simple piece of good, grilled beef. And the cheesecake---which we prefer plain---is the dessert to target. Our only disappointment to date is the sliders, which are thin and fast-food in style. Coloring materials are provided for the little people, and they have their own menus. The wine list needs work, but the beer list is a very good round-up of bottles and draughts.
