![]() : Hudson House is a casual, somewhat-industrial-looking space along a very quiet stretch of Pacific Coast Highway. There are several avant-garde dishes on order, though as a whole, the menu reads more like eclectic bistro than traditional gastropub. Dishes have included sweet brown sugar pork ribs; local rockfish; and the signature pretzel burger comprising a large beef patty on a pretzel bun with grilled onions, arugula, bacon and Jarlsberg cheese. Kale grit fritters are a good addition to any table. For dessert, there is banana cream pie. Though the bar offers some fresh-ingredient cocktails and predominantly European wines, the real star is the beer list, sorted by country of origin and style of brew. |
